The Art in Science
The Art in Science was developed by Dr. Orna Kretchmer - a scientist and artist from the San Francisco Bay Area.

In this unique program, the kids learn various science topics with hands on activities that turn into interesting artworks pleasing to the eye and intriguing to the mind.
Meet the Team

Experienced scientist and educator with a demonstrated history of working in science educational curriculum development.
Developed The Art In Science in 2010 to instill love of science in kids (ages 5-12) through an innovative curriculum that enriches kids in various scientific disciplines.
Holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, followed by post-doctorate research at UC Berkeley and Stanford University, where she conducted Bioinformatics research.
